With its classic, retro design cues concealing state of the art technology, this latest addition to the DTA family is the last word in compact audio performance. The TSX-70 integrates a wide variety of input sources with clock radio and alarm functions allowing you to wake up to your selected combination of music or radio station plus alarm. And thanks to Yamaha's experience in all aspects of sound reinforcement, DSP and music creation, it produces Concert Quality Sound anywhere in the home.

iPod Dock
The convenient, built-in docking station supports all popular iPod and iPhone models including iPod (5th generation), iPod classic, iPod nano, iPod touch, iPhone, iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS.

FM and AM Radio
The TSX-70 allows up to five FM and five AM preset channels to be stored for instant and easy recall using the ergonomic front panel control.

Concert Quality Sound
Three individual amplifiers power a 2.1 channel speaker system delivering a surprising level of high-quality audio in such a compact unit.

The SR-Bass woofer, located in the bottom of the casing, further enhances low-end performance. All aspects of the sound output benefit from Yamaha's advanced DSP technology. The music enhancer adds a brilliance and energy that improves any music program material, and the astonishing Extended Stereo effect digitally reproduces the aural experience of true stereo with speakers sounding further apart than they really are. Additionally, there is a digital loudness control which ensures optimum audio performance at all volume levels.

Clock and Alarm
The alarm function allows you to wake to your choice of beep, radio or iPod/iPhone. Radio and iPod/iPhone can also be combined with the beep and in this mode the selected audio source fades in gently and is initially filtered, to eliminate high frequencies, before gradually introducing the full audio spectrum. This function ensures that the waking experience is as comfortable as possible. After three minutes, the beep is activated making sure that you are fully awake. It's a great way to start the day. Additionally, there's a timer function that's just perfect for use in the kitchen (or when taking a nap!).
